You are invited for a pre-convocation dinner with Rebecca Walker, noted speaker, teacher and best-selling author.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 25th

This will be followed by the convocation address and book-signing at Di Ciccio Family Auditorium at 7 pm.
Rebecca Walker's work on race, class, culture and gender has been challenged ideological rigidity. She has been named one of Time Magazine's Fifty Most Influential Leaders. She has written three anthologies and two memoirs, including Black, White and Jewish:
An Autobiography of a Shifting Self". She is is the founder of Third Wave Foundation, a non-profit that supports young women between the ages of 15 and 30 working towards gender, racial, economic and social justice. Rebecca Walker is also the
daughter of Pulitzer-prize winning novelist Alice Walker.
