Organization Profile
What does the term "green" embody? Ecological consciousness? Money and profitability? Corporations and individual actors alike will need incentive to deviate from their current destructive path. However, doing the right thing and profitability are no longer mutually exclusive. Brown Progress Initiative (BPI) seeks to bridge the term's once disparate connotations to facilitate the transition from awareness to action, beginning right here at Brown.
BPI is a multidisciplinary think-tank for new sustainable product design and development. BPI seeks to harness the creative energy of the entire Brown community to cultivate innovative solutions for a changing world. Its ideas aim to create profitable products by solving current needs in a "green" manner, working together to bring ideas to market.
