Tue, Sep 15 2009 6:10 PMMultiracial Identity Week Steering Committee Meeting TOMORROW!!
Hey Everyone,
First of all, welcome back to Brown!!! I hope you are all settling down into your schedules and activities. I am writing to invite you to be on our steering committee for this Multiracial Identity Week, a one of a kind event. The goal of the week, which is the only week of it's kind in the US college circuit, has traditionally been to address issues that foster dialogue about race and identity, ultimately to bring multiracial identity and issues to the forefront. This year we want to maintain this aim, but also broaden its scope by introducing fresh topics for discussion and by including new and creative events.
Multiracial Identity Week needs YOU for our steering committee. We want to hear your brilliant ideas and input to make this year's Multiracial Identity Week the best it can be! We will be meeting in the TWC this Wednesday (Tomorrow!!!) the 16th at 8pm for our first steering committee meeting.
See you there,
Alexis Moreis and Chris Belcher
